Sylvia - Custom Log Home. Wooden House for a family by Logluxe Europe

We are proud to present one of our completed projects – a unique two-story family home built in Slovakia. This house was designed based on an individual project tailored to meet the client's specific wishes. The selected thickness of the glued laminated timber (glulam) is 200 mm, providing excellent thermal insulation and durability.

All internal walls and partitions are also made of glulam, adding strength and ecological value to the house.

Interior layout

The first floor features a spacious living room combined with the kitchen and dining area, creating an open space for family gatherings and communication. There is also a guest bedroom or children's room on this floor, as well as a bathroom extended with a sauna, offering additional comfort and relaxation opportunities.
The second floor includes two bedrooms – one for the parents and one for the children. Additionally, there is a toilet, a large walk-in closet for storage, and a cozy balcony area overlooking the spacious living room. The double-height ceiling adds a sense of airiness and openness to the space.

The first floor also features a terrace where the family can dine or host guests outdoors. In addition, there are two small balconies that open from the office and children's room, providing extra space for relaxation.

Project Phases

The house design process lasted about three months. During this time, we thoroughly discussed all the details, considered logistics, and carefully developed the interior layout. Before production even began, the client had a clear vision of how all the rooms would look, allowing us to avoid uncertainties during construction.

The production phase took one and a half months, and within four weeks of assembly, the house was completed. Three people, including the homeowner, worked on assembling the house, highlighting the ease and accessibility of the building process.

Thanks to the use of glulam, almost no additional “wet” finishing work was required, which significantly reduced the construction time. After completing the communication and flooring work, the family was able to start furnishing their new home almost immediately.

This project is a perfect example of how our clients' dreams become a reality through careful attention to each phase. With every detail worked out during the planning stage, the assembly and furnishing process went smoothly, without disputes or difficulties. This approach, which we implement in every project, allows us to achieve excellent results and provide high-quality service in the timber home construction market.
